Appeals Court Gives NFLPA Chance To Prove Collusion
The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit issued a surprising ruling that will allow the NFL Players Association the opportunity to prove the NFL colluded in the uncapped year of 2010. The written opinion, which is 18 pages long, stated that the NFLPA should have been given the opportunity to prove fraud in the 2011 settlement. What this means is the burden of proof is still heavy and still must be proven by the NFLPA.
