Another Player Leaves Rutgers, Heads to Florida
Taylor Marini is a tight end who played for Rutgers and has announced that he will leave the team to play somewhere else. According to MyCentralJersey.com, Marini will be the fifth player to leave Rutgers since the closing of last season.
His destination has not been confirmed but it is assumed that he will choose a university in Florida since he is from Lake Mary, near Orlando.
I have decided to transfer from Rutgers University and I look forward to pursuing my football career at another institution.

According to College Football Talk, he chose to take a scholarship to Rutgers over Florida schools like UCF, FIU and USF. It’s possible for him to seek out a roster spot at any of those. But, per NCAA transfer rules, he will be forced to sit out for the 2014 season, if he ends up at a Florida FBS institution.
Thank you to the RU fans, my teammates and the coaching staff for your support. — Taylor Marini (@taylormarini) May 5, 2014
