On Tuesday, Patriots coach Bill Belichick did the expected and offered little to reporters concerning the health of wide receiver Danny Amendola.
Amendola had his own meeting with the media on Wednesday and gave a little bit more of an idea about where things stand with the groin injury that has kept him out of the last two games. Since he will not be having sports hernia surgery, Amendola’s recovery timeline was believed to be around three weeks and the receiver said that he’s starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
“I anticipate being 100 percent shortly,” Amendola said, via Mike Petraglia of WEEI.com.
