All your fans on Twitter want to know where is Beth? Can you gives us a clue?
"I cant tell you. I cant tell you anything, but I can tell you that youll find out in October. That will reveal whats going on.
How has filming gone so far and where are you guys in the process of this season of Walking Dead?
Yeah so we film the season May through November so were like right in the thick of it, probably not really half way though but sometimes we shoot things out of order and things like that but were right in the middle of it though. Its been great. Weve got a lot of fans showing up and hanging out on set, which is different than other years. Sort of exciting. Its going great. Its tough like every year, where every day is different. Sometimes were in the middle of the night. Sometimes were outdoors. Its a lot of action. Its going great.
Without any spoilers, what about Season 5 are you most excited about?
Oh my Gosh. I cant pick, I mean honestly. I love reading the episodes. I love watching them but we have such great writers that I will read an episode and be like Oh my God, this is my favorite episode and then I read the next episode and Im like Oh this is the best one and I cant wait to see what its gonna look like but Im sorry I know that doesnt answer your question but Iyeah its really hard for me to pick. I think just that firstjust seeing how the group is going to get out of the situation theyre in is gonna be really exciting and really crazy and and a roller-coaster and I think just right out of the gate that first episode is gonna be really fun.
If a character was killed off, which one would devastate you and why?
One thats already devastated me is my dad, Scott Wilson, Hershel. I dont know how I could get more devastated than that. That was the hardest one Ive ever been through. Just for me personally just because we really do become a family in a certain way and Scott Wilson and Lauren Cohan [Maggie] and me. We all started the same weekend together. I remember meeting them at the hotel. That one was especially hard for me so I feel like its hard to beat that one. For me personally. Although I would be pretty shocked if Rick or Carl or someone Id be shocked if one of those characters died off. And of course very sad. And thats the thing by now weve become very close. Weve all lived down in Atlanta for a few years so its hard to lose someone.
Will you have any of your music in Season 5 and if so whats the title of the song?
I dont know if any of my music that Ive written will be in Season 5 that I know of right now but I do know that music is such a big part of Beth and her character and so it will definitely be incorporated. Im sure that the writers will be incorporating that in her character. But you can definitely find my music, Ill have new music. You can find my music now on iTunes and all streaming services, Amazon. 'Expired Love' is the name of my latest album I released. Im gonna keep making music and Im already recording my next album so.
Do you think that your character, Beth, is a strong female lead?
Yeah shes definitely changed and become that. I think shes still in the process of changing and finding out who she is. Weve definitely gotten to see her grow up into not just a bigger role on the show but grow up in terms of from being a 16 year old to be more of an adult.
What do you do to unwind and relax (when youre not filming)?
Honestly writing for me is a huge way to come back to myself. Writing poetry, writing songs is something I do regardless of if Im performing or working a lot. Its just a really good way to come back to myself and unwind and reflect on my day and reflect on my relationship. I find it really relaxing to write and Im always trying to make that a part of my day.
Talk about your EP Expired Love and how you got the idea behind the lyrics?
All the lyrics kind of come from my own personal experience I would say. Sometimes I start from my own experience and then my imagination kicks in a little bit as Im creating the song. But the songs are all really personal so I think if people take a close listen theyll hear about New York City, theyll hear about old boyfriends. Theyll hear a lot about the ups and downs we all go through when were dealing with love.
How would you like the reunion play out between Beth Daryl and Maggie?
I dont know I just hope that someone saves me. I feel like I dont know how to answer that. I think like everyone Im hoping that Beth gets back with the group and that everything is okay.
