Alex Rodriguez will likely have to wait until 2014 to learn the outcome of the grievance hearing into his 211-game suspension by Major League Baseball, but the New York Yankees slugger passed his own verdict on the performance of his legal team Thursday night.
“We crushed it,” Rodriguez said. “They had nothing.”
But his elation with his lawyers was tempered somewhat by the realization that his fate now lies in the hands of arbitrator Fredric Horowitz.
