Agent Says Lakers Signing Kendall Marshall
With Kobe Bryant expected to miss at least six weeks with a fracture of his lateral tibial plateau of his left knee, the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to sign second-year point guard Kendall Marshall.
The agreement was confirmed by his agent, Jeff Austin, in a text message to USA TODAY Sports. The pass-first North Carolina product was the 13th pick in the 2012 NBA draft, but he didn’t fare well for the Phoenix Suns team that selected him and will now be asked to assist in ways even he has never done before.
