Adrian Clayborn Wins Appeal, Won’t Have to Pay $21,000 Fine
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn has won his appeal for a hit on New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in Week 2 and will not have to pay a $21,000 fine.
Clayborn tweeted the news Wednesday afternoon following practice.
Clayborn was called for a helmet-to-helmet hit when he sacked Brees and forced a fumble. He was one of three Bucs players fined in that game, along with Dashon Goldson and former safety Ahmad Black.
