PREMIER LEAGUE [1]

With the Winter Olympics in full swing starting Saturday you might think that NBC has forgotten about the Premier League games. Rubbish, I say there will be plenty of good contests on Saturday and Sunday. USA Network gets a rare chance to host a big time grudge match as Liverpool wants to settle a score with Arsenal. The two teams will take the pitch at 7:45 a.m.

USA Network completes their double header with Chelsea and Newcastle United. The game will air at 10 a.m.

Chelsea who did not look good last week looks to bounce back this week making that bad news for Newcastle.

Sunday USA Network has another doubleheader featuring Tottenham Hotspur faces Everton  8:30 a.m. Big game for the Spurs who can blow past Everton with a win on Sunday and draw even with Liverpool in the standings. They follow that big game with another one worthy of watching at 11 a.m.

We head to Old Trafford as Manchester United plays host to Fulham. It looks like a good day for Man U fans as they should roll by Fulham in front of the home crowd.

The rest of the weekend action is listed below and most of it can be seen on NBC Sports Live Extra.

West Ham United heads to Villa Park to face Aston Villa. The game airs on NBC Sports Extra Live at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Also on NBC Sports Live Extra at 10 a.m. you might wish to choose what should be a fine match up as Crystal Place takes West Bromwish. These two sides always play close games and there is no reason to think they will not do it again this week.    Your third offering at 10 a.m. Saturday again on NBC Sports Live Extra is against a couple of giant killers.

Southampton  will face Stoke City and both are coming off big time upsets from last week. Southampton crushed 3-0 Fulham. Meanwhile, Stoke is capable of beating anyone, as they proved last week against Manchester United.

Also 10 a.m. Saturday on NBC Live Extra it will be Sunderland and Hull City. Nothing to see here as Sunderland should have an easy time with HC.

Last early game Saturday has Norwich City and Manchester City at 10: a.m. on NBC  Live Extra

At 12:30 p.m. we head over to NBC Sports Network for Swansea City and Cardiff City. Should be a solid game with plenty of action a slight edge to the boys from Swansea City, well I am Welsh and that may have swayed me their way.
