A Blackhawks Win Tonight Will Give Quenneville His 700th Career Win

QuennevilleIn addition to another successful season for the Chicago Blackhawks, a milestone may be reached tonight for head coach Joel Quenneville if the Blackhawks defeat the Philadelphia Flyers.

‘Hawks head coach Joel Quenneville will be looking for his 700th career win, which would put him in elite company — only Scotty Bowman (1,244 wins) and Al Arbour (782) are members of the NHL’s 700-win club.

“I’ve been really fortunate where I’ve been,” Quenneville said, per the Chicago Daily Herald. “I’ve been in some real good situations with some great organizations, some real good teams.”

At 55, Quenneville looks as though he’ll make a serious run at Arbour for No. 2 on the coaching list.
