2nd Period Not So Kind To Lightning

[1]There were six goals scored in the second period of tonight’s game against the Ottawa Senators. The Tampa Bay Lightning have been outscored 10-3 in the second period this season.

Anders Lindback was peppered with 16 shots in the second, letting four goals past him. At times Lindback appeared to be struggling to control rebounds and was fighting off the puck most of the period. Victor Hedman scored late in the second period to pull the Lightning with in one goal.

The third period starts with the Senators leading 4-3.
