2014 Winter Classic Won't Break Record
It looks like the NHL's attempt at setting a Guinness record of attendance at a hockey game will fall short.
In 2010 the record was set when 104,173 were in attendance as Michigan played verses Michigan State. According to Nick Cotsonik of Yahoo Sports, enough tickets were sold but fans were still coming in late and didn't get their ticket scanned in time.
